COMMODITY SYMBOLS

Commodity futures contracts are quoted with symbols. Commodity quotes have three parts. The 1 or 2 character Contract symbol, the one character Month symbol, and the last digit of the year in which the contract expires. The reference guide below will familiarize you with the commodity symbols so that you learn how to read futures and options prices. 

Example: January 2009 Orange Juice Futures (OJF9)
